Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor, who has also worked as a producer, director and producer. Keaton is best known for the film 'Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is skilled in playing comedy and dramatic parts. In addition to playing characters with romantic appeal, he played in action films as well as thrillers. In his teenage years, he developed an interest for acting and performance. Then, he tried stand-up comedic performances in his teens. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career but this paved the way to his career as an actor. Unable to find success in the field of comedy, he picked on a position as cameraman for a TV cable channel. When he was working in the station when he came to the realization that the way he wanted to work was present in front of cameras. After that, he was offered a TV performance, and was in several episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor, and quickly became a household name on television. He began a film career with great goals and gained a lot of fame for his comedic performances. Additional recognition was received as he played Batman's own superhero as Tim Burton's Batman. Being a mature actor he also began to venture into directing and producing. In 2014, his performance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous awards and nods.
